Hungary fall to 20th position in EU Health Consumer index

Recent study ranks the European nations by their health system statuses.
The Dutch system is ranked second year in row the best in the world, while Finland holds 11th position. For Hungary, the situation has worsened since last years 14th positon. The ranking is now 20th.

Hungary ranks #21 in Doing Business 2010

Hungary ranks 2nd of Central and Southeastern European European countries in the fresh ranking by Doing Business. Though, is dropped in the global ranking by four six positions, it has kept its position pretty well among its peer countries in the region. Detailed rankings can be found from here.

Hungarian economy at the edge of recovery?

IMF-funding has done some good for the Hungarian economy. There a some positive signs, but also some alarming ones. Recent article by Forbes updates you nicely on the macro-economic situation.

NSN expected to expand in Budapest

Very interesting news from the Prime Minister’s visit to Finland.

Nokia Siemens Network could expand its centre in Budapest which currently has a staff of 800, Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai said after meeting with top Nokia officials in Helsinki on Thursday.

Budapest and Hungary is still a favourable business location, or is it? What do you think?
